Peter Osterio
Peter F. Osterio, CISA, is the founder, CEO and Board Chairman of a computer products company in Gainesville, Georgia. His career has spanned accounting, programming, internal auditing, systems development management, business strategy development, external auditing, and consulting with a large public accounting firm. He programmed the first software products his company developed.
Drawing on his experience of competing in the business world, Peter has developed the Risk Based Integrated Auditing™ (RBIA) internal auditing approach and the Practical Governance and Risk Management™ (PGRM) methodology for building cost effective, well-controlled business processes. Both RBIA and PGRM approaches are used by many Fortune 500 companies.
Peter gives approximately 30 – 40 seminars each year in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. He is in demand for speaking engagements by the Institute of Internal Auditors and other professional organizations. He has written five books on business risk, control and audit. Peter is the editor of the “Inside RBIA” newsletter, which is distributed to over 7,000 business managers and executives.
